Drawings — charcoal, pencil or conte crayon
- Up to 8" x 10"
- $300
- Larger drawings or special renditions
- $350 and up
Charcoal drawings are done with a softer, darker pencil than regular pencil drawings. Conte crayon drawings are done with a drawing stick of varying hardness in a traditional range of black, white and red colors. Most drawings are done in a soft red-brown on a warmly toned paper, often with white highlights.
WaterColors
- Up to 9" X 11"
- $350 and up
I enjoy painting small watercolors. I feel that my watercolors look best when hung in a place where they are viewed at close range. They should definitely not be hung in direct sunlight, as sunlight will eventually fade watercolor paintings.
Pastels
- Up to 16" X 20"
- $950
Pastels should be framed with a mat — double matting is best — as this can help keep the pastel dust from clinging to the inside of the glass. Also for this same reason, use a damp cloth when dusting your framed pastel so as not to create static electricity which could cause pastel dust to stick to the inside of the glass.
